Teenager Lindsey (Celeste Kellogg) lives on a horse ranch with her father (Jeff Rose, Army Wives) as the two struggle with the recent death of Lindseys mother.
Robbins contracted rising singing star Kellogg to play the adolescent who is more concerned about her fathers wellbeing and happiness than her own in the pilot episode. As friends and teachers intervene, Lindsey learns that everyone grieves differently, and some may need more time to reflect on a loss of such magnitude.
